It's fair to say that we have been inundated with numerous pictures of the Christmas school shows that have taken place across Bucks this festive season.
We've had well over 50 pics come our way as students from many primary schools have got into the festive spirit.
This was showcased through Nativity performances that took place up and down the county.
In all, schools across High Wycombe and the surrounding areas, Marlow, Little Marlow, Marlow Bottom, Amersham, Chesham, Chesham Bois, Great Missenden, Little Missenden, Aylesbury, Princes Risborough and many took to their make shifts stages to spread some cheer to everyone who was in attendance at their respective shows.
What is the Nativity play?
The Nativity story, also known as the Christmas story or the Nativity of Jesus, is a story that tells the conception and birth of Jesus Christ.
Telling the Nativity story is a Christmas tradition and is central to the celebration of Christmas within the Christian faith.
Mary and Joseph were a married couple living in Nazareth, Israel, around 2000 years ago.
One night, Mary was visited by the Angel Gabriel (the archangel). Gabriel explained that God was to send his son to Earth for mankind and that Mary would soon have a baby, that baby would be named Jesus and would be God’s son.
The Bucks Free Press' audience content editor, Isabella Perrin said: "It was brilliant seeing so many photos come through of all the children taking part in their Christmas productions.
"We hope everyone has a great Christmas and that it's one to remember."
