A dog walker has been left ‘saddened’ after she discovered hundreds of cider cans in ‘beautiful’ woods.
The grim discovery was made when Taylor Sutton stumbled across a huge pile of cider cans dumped in a woodland off Broad Lane, Wooburn Green, when walking her dogs.
Cans had been scattered around and on top of each other, with hundreds of them visible and partially camouflaged by the undergrowth.
Taylor said: “My first thought was how sad - that probably a young group of kids got hold of some cans and had a bit of a party, but when I saw the sheer volume I was stunned.

“I just could not fathom how someone had drunk that much cider and left all the rubbish there without a second thought. People are so selfish.”
She said the grotesque discovery in “such a hidden serene spot” was “littering on a whole different scale.”
“On one hand it’s so sad to think that someone is or has been there consuming that amount of alcohol.
“Then on the other hand, as a girl in her late 20s who regularly walks her two dogs there, meets friends for walks, it’s extremely unsettling.
“It’s such a beautiful place full of daily walkers, it has changed my view of the woods.”
The land is believed to be privately owned and not the responsibility of Buckinghamshire Council.
