A main road in Beaconsfield will close for four hours during a Festival of Lights event this evening.
Christmas is just a few weeks away and festive light displays are beginning to pop up all over the county, traditionally rung in with celebratory community events and an obligatory local celebrity to flick the switch.
The annual event is a highlight of Beaconsfield's winter calendar, with Santa and his elves greeting families, children's parade, and performances on stage.
The event starts at 6pm with Station Road closed from 5pm until 9pm tonight.
A five minute diversion route is in place for drivers to follow:
For 3.33 km drive on Penn Road
Continue on Penn Road for 161m
Turn sharp left towards Ledborough Lane for 1.23km
Turn right towards Amersham Road for 689m
Continue on Amersham Road for 46.4m
Turn slight left towards Amersham Road for 57.9m
Turn slight left towards Amersham Road for 551m
Turn right towards Candlemas Lane for 578m
Turn sharp left towards Station Road for 11.6m
