We chat to Susie Long, Wellbeing Lead for BelleVie Care in Buckinghamshire, who reveals what inspired her to join the BelleVie Care team and why they’re the best homecare company to support your loved one.
Q: How does BelleVie Care benefit High Wycombe and surrounding community?
A: I am thrilled to share that BelleVie Care opened its doors in High Wycombe in October, introducing our unique at-home care services to the region. Our coverage spans High Wycombe, Marlow, Beaconsfield, Hazlemere, Little Missenden, Amersham and the surrounding areas. Recognising the presence of excellent at-home care companies in the area, we are delighted to join them in providing high-quality services for the community.
We are dedicated to enhancing our social impact by collaborating with local community groups, charities and businesses. Our commitment includes recruiting care workers exclusively from the communities we serve, ensuring that we contribute to and strengthen the local ecosystem. This approach ensures that the individuals we support receive care from people who are familiar with their neighbourhoods.
Q: How does Bellevie engage with the local community?
A: Our unwavering commitment involves active collaboration with local community groups, organising Wellness events like Chair Yoga, Nutrition Talks, and Chair Dance in partnership with the local Age Concern and Adult social groups. We also engage in volunteering efforts aligned with charities that share similar values to ours. Looking ahead, we aspire to expand our engagement by working with additional community groups and local retailers in the coming months.
Q: Why should someone consider the Bellevie Care to look after their loved one?
A: Our team is made up of carefully selected local caregivers who not only share our passion for helping individuals to live in their home for as long as possible, but also resonate with our values and ethos to enhance the enjoyment and comfort of later life.
We’re not just caregivers; we’re your neighbours, your friends, and trusted members of the community. Your wellbeing is our wellbeing, and that’s what strengthens our community bonds.
Q: What are the benefits of being cared for by Bellevie?
A: We firmly believe that our purpose is to support you in living life on your terms, from personal development to hobbies like cooking or dancing. Whether it involves having a companion to watch a favourite soap, sharing a cup of tea, taking a stroll in the countryside, or simply having assistance with meal preparation, we are here to help you pursue the life you want to lead.
