A motorist from Slough was slapped with a £461 fine for speeding on the M40 motorway.
Keerat Dhaliwal, 24, of Cedar Way, was caught driving his car, a Mercedes Benz, over the 70 mph motorway limit on April 1.
Dhaliwal committed the offence between Junction 2 and Junction 1A in Buckinghamshire, breaching the Motorways Traffic (Speed Limit) Regulations 1974 and the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Dhaliwal appeared via the Single Justice Procedure on October 5, pleading guilty.
He was also ordered to pay a £184 surcharge for victim services and £90 in court fees.
Seeing as this was a repeated offence, the court decided to disqualify Dhaliwal from driving for six months.
His licence was additionally endorsed with six penalty points in accordance with the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
Payment of the £461 fine and other costs must be completed by January 17, 2024.
A notification of Dhaliwal’s conviction was sent to the DVLA.
