A musical festival in Buckinghamshire has revealed some of the names that will perform in the county next summer.

PennFest, which is situated in the village of the same name, will see Paul Weller, Richard Ashcroft and Jess Glynne will be heading to the south of the county in July 2024.

Also appearing over the weekend are The Coral, Goldie Lookin’ Chain, David Rodigan, Wiley, Noasis, plus many more who will be announced in due course.

Paul Weller’s career spans six decades, in which he scored 18 consecutive Top 40 singles, including four No.1’s.

He has also received four Brit Awards including the 2006 Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.

Richard Ashcroft first found acclaim as frontman and songwriter with The Verve, whose landmark 1997 album ‘Urban Hymns’ has sold over three million copies in the UK alone.

The following year, The Verve were awarded two Brits while Ashcroft was named the Ivor Novello Songwriter of The Year.

Jess Glynne rose to prominence in 2014 as a featured artist on the hit singles ‘Rather Be’ by Clean Bandit and ‘My Love’ by Route 94.

She also became the first British female solo artist to have seven number one singles on the UK Singles Chart, while her two studio albums to date 'I Cry When I Laugh’ (2015) and ‘Always In Between’ (2018), have both debuted at the top spot.

PennFest organisers Nick Billinghurst and Matt Smith said: “We’re so excited to announce that there will be more of PennFest to enjoy next year when we expand to three days, taking in the whole weekend for the very first time.

The festival was launched in the summer of 2011 with next year’s event taking place across July 19, 20 and 21.
