Three people were hit by a car in Buckinghamshire this afternoon, with one sustaining serious injury and the offending driver fleeing the scene.
Thames Valley Police has issued an appeal for witnesses after three pedestrians were involved in a hit-and-run incident on the H7 Chaffron Way junction with Studwick Drive, Oldbrook, in Milton Keynes at around 1:31pm this afternoon (December 1).
One pedestrian was seriously injured by the collision, which saw the driver failing to stop at the scene, reportedly fleeing in the direction of V6 Grafton Street.
A police spokesperson dispelled speculation on social media that the force had been responding to a knife crime in the area, adding that anyone who witnessed the hit-and-run should call 101 and quote 43230540148 to help officers in their enquiries.
