Parcel delivery company Evri has launched a new counter service at Post Offices in Buckinghamshire.
Evri, one of the country’s biggest parcel delivery companies, announced a new option to collect, send and receive packages using the service in some Post Offices.
From Friday, December 1, customers can choose whether to send packages with Evri or Royal Mail, a historical first in the Post Office’s 360-year history.
However, only ten Post Office branches in Buckinghamshire will accept Evri parcels. You can find the full list below.
Evri’s chief growth officer David Saenz said: “We’re pleased to give local people more choice and convenience when sending a parcel.
“Whether you’re sending a Christmas gift to a loved one or selling second-hand items online, we’re committed to delivering a high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable service with great quality benefits such as tracking as standard and giving consumers yet another reason to keep using Post Offices, so they remain at the heart of our communities.”
Here are the Post Offices branches across Buckinghamshire now accepting Evri parcels
- Naphill
- Cryers Hill
- Lane End
- Holtspur
- Desborough Castle
- Loudwater
- Bletchley
- Harvey Road
- Emerson Valley
- Marlow Bottom
The partnership means customers can send, collect and return Evri over the counter in Post Office branch, where they can ask Post Office staff to enter address details and apply the label rather than using a self-service device.
Evri hopes the new service will make services accessible to people who are unable to use self-service devices.
The company now boasts around 11,000 locations to send, collect and return packages in the country, including corner shops, petrol stations and shops.
Last dates to send packages with Evri before Christmas were also announced.
- Tuesday, December 19 – last day for courier collections
- Wednesday, December 20 – send a parcel standard delivery from a ParcelShop by 11am
- Thursday, December 21 – send a parcel next day delivery from a ParcelShop by 11am
