POLICE have confirmed there have been no fatalities after a serious crash.
The A421 closed in both directions between Milton Keynes and Buckingham at the junctions with Whaddon Road and Nash road.
Thames Valley Police closed the roads for "a number of hours".
A police spokesman said: "There were no fatalities and the road reopened at around 2am."
