A FORMER school sports teacher has been jailed for a string of sexual offences against young children, in some cases under the age of 13.
Jonathan Reynolds, of Nalders Road, Chesham, will spend years behind bars for the offences after his sentencing at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday, November 24.
He was working as a sports manager at the Disraeli School, High Wycombe, at the time of his arrest on March 22, 2022, Thames Valley Police confirmed.
However, the force also confirmed no offences took place at the High Wycombe school or involved pupils.
A statement from Disraeli School's co-headteachers Jo Pikulski and Jo Gowers added: "When we were informed of the arrest, we took immediate action to suspend the individual, he did not return to school and was then dismissed at the earliest opportunity."

Reynolds was convicted of 17 counts of sexual offences involving children. Full details of each offence below.
The 30-year-old was sentenced on Friday, November 24, to a total of nine years and four months' in prison.

- Count 1 – Inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity. Sentenced to three years and four months to be served concurrently
- Count 2 – Inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity. Sentenced to nine years and four months in prison, and made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
- Count 3 – Causing a child to watch a sexual act. Sentenced to 16 months in prison to run concurrently
- Count 4 – Inciting a child to engage in sexual Activity. Sentenced to two years to run concurrently
- Count 5 – Causing a child to watch a sexual act. Sentenced to 16 months to run concurrently
- Count 6 – Inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity. Sentenced to three years and four months to run concurrently
- Count 7 – Causing a child to watch a sexual act. Sentenced to 16 months to run concurrently
- Count 8 – Inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity. Sentenced to three years and four months to run concurrently
- Count 9 – Causing a child to watch a sexual act. Sentenced to 16 months to run concurrently
- Count 10 – Inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity. Sentenced to three years and four months
- Count 11 – Inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity. Sentenced to nine years and four months to run concurrently
- Count 12 – Causing a child to watch a sexual act. Sentenced to 16 months to run concurrently

- Count 17 – Making indecent photographs of children. Sentenced to four months to run concurrently.
Due to each sentence being served concurrently, Reynolds was sentenced to a total of nine years and four months in prison.
