Police have urged motorists to ‘take a taxi, not a police car’ after arresting six people in one night for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol in Buckinghamshire.
Police officers in Milton Keynes arrested six people for alcohol or drug-induced driving in the city last night (November 25).
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said that “fortunately” nobody was injured as a result of the offences but urged other drivers to not take the risk of operating a car while under the influence.
They said: “The message is simple – do not drink and drive. (Now that) the Christmas party season is upon us, take a taxi, not a police car or ambulance.”
