An award-winning actor will switch on the Christmas lights at a festive ‘extravaganza’.
Actor Robert Lindsay was announced as this year’s helper at Gerrards Cross Christmas light event on Friday, November 24.
A well-known face on British TV and theatre, one of his most prominent roles was as the delusional revolutionary Wolfie Smith in the BBC’s Citizen Smith.
He went on to win a BAFTA for his leading role in Alan Bleasdale’s dark comedy G.B.H in 1991.
Joining him on stage will be singer-songwriter Debbie Curtis, who will perform her two songs ‘Merry Christmas’ and ‘It’s Christmas time’ to get everyone in the festive spirit.
