A ‘suspicious’ woman has been arrested by police in Buckinghamshire following numerous reports of shoplifting, theft from cars and approaching members of the public to ask for money.
Thames Valley Police arrested a woman in Marlow after receiving reports that she had approached members of the public to ask for money and had links to multiple shoplifting incidents and thefts from cars.
The Marlow Neighbourhood Policing Team arrested the “suspicious” individual this week and she is currently on bail pending further investigations as of yesterday (November 22).
A spokesperson for the force said: “We are pleased that we have been able to swiftly and robustly deal with these incidents.”
