A new fitness studio is getting ready to open in Beaconsfield this weekend.
FitWorks gym started by two friends is going to open with a bang on Saturday, November 18 in Beaconsfield.
Located at the former St John’s Ambulance site, FitWorks members and families have been helping to turn the empty building into their dream exercise studio in time for the launch day.
The gym is now only hours away from the grand opening, with taster classes, fun challenges and a live DJ lined uo ready to raise the atmosphere and help keep everyone motivated.
The studio will feature equipment used in classes, including TRX suspension trainers, functional kit, mace, squat racks, ropes, dumbbells, kettlebells and bands for a rewarding training session.
Friends Hannah Camden and Pippa Lance first came up with the idea of their own studio five years ago when they started working out of the Beaconsfield Rugby Club.
However, finding a suitable building in Beaconsfield was “challenging” until the opportunity to transform the disused ambulance building came up, the pair said.
Although FitWorks was started by two strong women, they aim to be a community open to everyone.
Passionate about mothers’ health, Pippa gained a qualification in Buggy Fit and pre and post-natal fitness. She is also currently finishing pre and post-natal courses and Holistic core restore-approach, which covers pelvic floor foundation, diastasis, prolapse, hysterectomy, bump and 4th trimester exercise.

Hannah is enthusiast about all things movement and movement being “medicine,” she has said. She is currently the UK record holder and world champion in the international world of kettlebell competitions. She often brings new movement, strength and wellness methods as part of her classes, including Mace Flow.
The new FitWorks studio is located on Meadow Lane just off Candlemas Lane between Beaconsfield New and Old Towns.
