WEEKLY round up of hearings at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court.

STEVEN BLACKLAW, 43, of Ogilvie Road, High Wycombe, pleaded guilty to damaging a bedside table to the value of £85 belonging to the Old Tea Warehouse on July 25 this year. He was ordered to pay £85 in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.

REHAN MIRZA, 32, of Viridian Square, Aylesbury, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class B drug – namely cannabis – on October 16 last year in Salford. He was fined £400. An order was made for the drug to be forfeited and destroyed.

ROBERT JOHNSON, 52, of Clifford Road, Princes Risborough, was found guilty to assault by beating on December 2 last year. He was fined £300 and made subject to a restraining order until August 16, 2024. There were also court costs of £300.

SCOTT WILSON, 32, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to damaging a kitchen counter and a garden fence to the value of £50 on March 4 this year in Gerrards Cross. He was given a period of conditional discharge for 12 months. There were no order for compensation as the loser has specifically said they do not want compensation.

SIMON FRY, 52, of Kents Hill, Milton Keynes, was found guilty of driving without due care and attention on Simpson Drive junction with Groveway on May 7 this year. He was fined £220 and had four penalty points added to his driving record. There were court costs of £110 and a victim surcharge of £88.
