Numerous delays were spotted in High Wycombe this morning as commuters were stuck for ‘elongated periods’ during rush hour.
Between 8am and 9am on November 15, many motorists were seen queuing along Robinson Road and Rayners Avenue which is on the border of both Wycombe and Loudwater.
Several cars were then seen making u-turns in order to find an alternative way to reach their destination.

One driver, who was stuck in the traffic, said: “I didn’t understand what was going on, and morning rush hour is never this busy.
“It was ridiculous.
“Of course, you get the normal bit of traffic but this was never-ending.
“I couldn’t see any roadworks near those two roads, but cars were turning around, there was chaos at traffic lights and junctions, it was like people didn’t know where to go and what to do.”
At around 9.30, the traffic resumed at its regular level.
