Traffic on the motorway was affected after two cars crashed on the M40 this morning.
The accident happened on the M40 southbound between J4 Handy Cross and J3 Loudwater today (November 15) after 8am.
Congestion eased shortly after 8.30am after the two cars were moved to safety.
One lane out of three is closed and traffic is expected to return to normal between 9.45am and 10amm National Highways said.
