A new Aldi supermarket is due to open in High Wycombe next year.
The German outlet, which already has a store situated on Baker Street within the town, will be based in Cressex and is expected to unveil itself to the public in May 2024.
The announcement comes as Aldi is currently recruiting store assistants and deputy managers ahead of their grand opening in six months' time.
What can we expect?
Aldi Stores Limited will build a 1,801 sqm supermarket and a 517 sqm McDonald’s restaurant drive-thru at the former Park and Ride site, with new access from Crest Road.
There will be 126 parking spaces along with a new pedestrian crossing on John Hall Way.

Plans for an Aldi and drive-thru McDonald’s at the Park and Ride site were first revealed by the former Wycombe District Council (WDC) in March 2019.
The scheme took another step forward in November 2020 but was met with concerns about noise, litter, and ‘traffic chaos’.
But planning officers said the new junction can accommodate the additional traffic.

In terms the McDonald’s, it will be the fourth branch to open in the town, as there are outlets along the High Street, Dovecot Road and Holmers Farm Way.
The latter of which is situated inside the town’s Asda Superstore.
