A gym has been given a ‘major’ £100,000 boost to improve its facilities just two years after it opened.
Chilterns Lifestyle Centre was given the money to upgrade the fitness facilities over the next four weeks as part of on-going improvements.
The planned works are set to improve the health and fitness offering at the centre in Amersham, which opened in December 2021.
Buckinghamshire Council’s cabinet member for culture and leisure Clive Harriss said: “With the Chilterns Lifestyle Centre heading towards its two-millionth visitor in the coming months, I am delighted to see we are able to continue to improve the centre and provide even better facilities for both existing and potential new customers.”
