A new cafe with ‘absolutely fabulous’ food has opened in Buckinghamshire.
Koko’s has officially opened in Beaconsfield Old Town on Wednesday, November 1.
The already popular cafe sells freshly made sandwiches, filled Burek filo pastry, sweet goodies, coffees and tea with outdoor seating by the Old Town roundabout.
Owner Sanela Bejdic Hajdarevic said: “It’s been really hectic and crazy from the get-go. We had a soft opening two days ago and yesterday we spent the entire day getting everything ready, cooking, making Bureks and cakes.”

The colourful cafe was teeming with customers at lunchtime on the opening day, keeping Sanela and her husband and business partner Emir Bejdic Hajdarevic busy.
By noon, the cinnamon buns and most of the Burek options had sold out, to the disappointment of one Burek enthusiast who vowed to return the next day.
Claire Garden, from Holmer Green, was a fan of Koko’s in Old Amersham, where the business first started as an outdoor van and canopy serving the walkers at the Shardeloes Lake.

She praised the cafes food and “the lovely couple” Sanela and Emir who currently run the business by themselves.
“The food is fab, absolutely fab. They do Burek, which is one of Sanela’s specialties and toasties are lovely, they’ve got a massive coffee machine now for delicious coffee,” she said.
Her favourite was the “squishy” cinnamon roll with icing on top.
