A DOCTOR has been found guilty of a string of sexual assaults which took place at two Buckinghamshire hospitals.
Salman Qureshi, aged 43, of Eleanor Gardens, Aylesbury, was found guilty by unanimous jury verdict of two counts assault of a female over 13 by penetration, and one count of sexual assault at Aylesbury Crown Court.
The two week trial ended on Tuesday, October 31.
Qureshi will face sentencing on November 29.
The sex attacks occurred at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury, and Wycombe General Hospital, High Wycombe, between September 2005 and August 2018.
Qureshi was charged on September 3, 2019.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Collette Parker, of Aylesbury Police Station, said: “Qureshi used his trusted position as a Doctor to assault two young women who were in his care.
“We hope this conviction shows that victims of sexual assault can report historical incidents and we will investigate them.”
Qureshi will face sentencing on November 29.
