A male driver was arrested in High Wycombe for speeding over the 30mph limit and testing positive for cocaine.
TVP South Buckinghamshire pursued the vehicle in the early hours of the morning (October 30).
The man, forced to stop due to his unsatisfactory driving, passed a breathalyser test but failed a drug screening.
The suspect was taken to the station for a confirmatory blood test.
This event is one of four arrests over three shifts made by a single night crew, targeted at impaired driving.
The police squad made another arrest for reckless driving on Friday night (October 27), with the driver failing a drug screening.
Later that night, they detained an additional person for drink-driving.
On Saturday, the same crew responded to a severe crash in Chesham where another driver was found to be over the legal alcohol limit.
The offending motorist was hospitalised and had a blood test after blowing 105ug per 100 millilitres of breath, significantly exceeding the legal limit of 35.
Local authorities continue to implore residents to abstain from drug use and drink-driving in order to maintain public safety on the roads.
