Wycombe residents and representatives from the Kashmir Development Fund were joined by councillors and other dignitaries to hoist the green, white and gold flag with a star and crescent representing the autonomous region of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
"The event was a testament to the strong sense of community and cultural pride that exists among the Kashmiri diaspora in the UK," the organisers said.
The number of the diaspora in the UK is believed to be nearly a million and the autonomous region shares strong ties with the UK due to the partition of the British India in 1947.
