A Springer Spaniel from Buckinghamshire has been named one of the UK's happiest hounds.
Pet travel exchange company Trusted Housesitters has been hunting for the UK's happiest dog, inviting dog owners and pet sitters to submit their most adorable and happiest pooch pictures.
As a nation of dog lovers, we all know too well how much happiness and love dogs can bring to humans.
Swervy, a local pooch from Penn, Buckinghamshire, took home a close third place after winning over the judges with his canine charisma and joy for life.
The Springer Spaniel showed the judges how excitable and loveable he is.
His regular sitter from Bristol said: "Swervy has his best friend over for playtime once a week. Both sleep well after a day of chasing, barking, play fighting and swimming."
The winners of the UK's Happiest Hound competition won prizes including a doggy caricature drawing and a year of free membership with Trusted Housesitters – a pet-sitting platform that connects pet lovers and pet parents.
