FAMILIES will get to enjoy spending time in emergency service vehicles in the shopping centre on Saturday (October 21).
Eden in High Wycombe is hosting South Central Ambulance Service, Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and Thames Valley Police for an Emergency Services Day.
With a police car, a fire engine, a frontline ambulance and a rapid response vehicle on show along with the latest emergency equipment, children will get the chance to meet the local heroes who keep us safe.
South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) have planned to bring a fully operational frontline ambulance and a rapid response vehicle, with SCAS Paramedics on hand to teach shoppers how to conduct CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator.
SCAS Community First Responders will be available to answer questions and demonstrate other equipment they use in emergencies.
The Community Safety Team from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service will also be in attendance with one of their emergency vehicles, providing advice to the public on how to stay safe at home as we head into winter.
Their team will also be on hand to talk about careers, so if you've ever considered working in the Fire Service, this is the perfect time to meet them.
They're currently recruiting firefighters and are ready to answer any questions you may have.
Thames Valley Police will be on site with two of their vehicles and will be happy to give shoppers the chance to look around their high-tech vehicles whilst answering questions.
