A children’s nursery in Marlow has been sold for an ‘undisclosed price’.
Marlow Montessori, which is based on Frieth Road, has been purchased by Anya Navidski of Alba Nurseries - a successful group of two nurseries in London and Slough that focuses on outdoor learning and maintaining a kind and curios approach to learning.
The property has been owned by Jan Lundie, who recently decided to sell on following her plans to retire.

The sale was conducted by Christie and Co, which is one of the country’s leading in buying and selling businesses within its sectors.
Anya Navidski, Owner of Alba Nurseries, comments, “We are very proud to add Marlow Montessori School to our group and are grateful to Jan for her trust in us.
“Our nurseries are able to benefit from managerial synergies and sharing of resources and expertise while reducing the administrative burden on staff and allowing our amazing team to do what they do best – work with their pupils.”

Marlow Montessori operates from the town’s village hall following its opening in 1993 and as of 2023, the establishment was given a recent ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating.
The price of the sale has not been made public.
