FLY-TIPPERS have been fined after they were caught dumping waste across Buckinghamshire.
Three men have paid a fine after they were caught littering in the county.
A fisherman from Slough was slapped with a £150 fine after he was caught on a traffic camera leaving his litter on Uxbridge Road in Wexham on August 8.
He said his fishing bait spilled out of two bags in his car footwell and he stopped and cleared it out along with the bags, Buckinghamshire Council’s fly-tipping team said.
A man from High Wycombe dumped bags of rubbish on Spring Lane in Flackwell Heath on July 18 on top of an existing pile of waste.
After being caught, he told the enforcement officers he was on his way to a waste site.
However, he was handed a £300 fine to avoid court prosecution.
A Leicester man was caught by a traffic camera after he dumped an old mattress on Uxbridge Road in Wexham.

Although he had a free ePermit to use the Household Recycling Centre, he got there too late on July 22, he told the enforcement officers.
He then threw the mattress on the side of the road, landing him with a £300 fixed penalty notice, which he has now paid to avoid the court.
