A new cafe inspired by the Greek islands has opened in Buckinghamshire.
Jester cafe welcomed its first customers on Monday, October 2 on Hill Avenue in Amersham.
The trendy cafe has a tranquil, sand coloured decor with some eye-catching details dotted around, while the menu boasts coffees, teas, juices, smoothie bowls and light bites like salads and open toasts.
Olsi Zenuni, the co-owner and manager of Jester, said: “We love Amersham. We chose this street as well because the High Street is quite expensive to be honest. We like the street and it’s close to the train station and the people are really nice and kind.”
“We are from Greece and we got the design from the islands we miss. When people come in, they can relax for a bit. The music reflects that too.

“After Covid, everyone needs a way to relax – all of us, we’ve got a lot of problems. That’s why we’re trying to offer something nice.”

Olsi and his business partner also chose Amersham over other towns in the area because of its proximity to Berkhamsted, where they both live and run another cafe.
