EMERGENCY SERVICES were alerted after reports of a fire involving a gas cylinder in a field.
Fire crews rushed to Rickmansworth Lane in Chalfont St Peter shortly after 5pm on Thursday, September 28.
One fire engine and crew from Amersham and one from Gerrards Cross arrived on the scene, where piles of building waste was on fire.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Smoke was visible in the area when they arrived.

“The firefighters located a fire involving around 50 square metres of agricultural and building waste within a field. A 13 kg LPG cylinder was involved in the fire and venting.
“The firefighters established a scene cordon and used one main jet and small gear.”
Thames Valley Police was contacted for a comment.
