Plans to install solar panels to the roofs of houses at Abbey Barn South Reserve Site, Abbey Barn Lane, High Wycombe (23/07307/MINAMD)
Developer Berkely Group wants to fix solar panels to 30 houses as part of Phase 3 of the Abbey Barn development.
Plans for 550 homes, some of which are built, were approved in 2019 by Wycombe District Council, which controversially released the site for development in 2014.
New planning documents read: “We hereby apply for PV panels to be added to all the private homes listed in the table below, to help achieve compliance with the energy efficiency requirements set out within the current Part L building regulations.”
The one and two-bedroom apartments and three, four and five-bedroom houses at Abbey Park are billed as being “nestled in a tranquil countryside setting” and cost between £259,950 and £975,000.
Permission to change use of caretakers flat at the First Floor Office, Longburrow Hall, Hall Park Lane, Stokenchurch, HP14 3TQ (23/07289/FUL)
Stokenchurch Parish Council wants to use the two-bedroom apartment on the first floor for residential purposes.
The hall was built with a caretaker’s flat above in 1979 but in 2016 the small apartment was changed to office space.
A planning document reads: “In the last few years there has been a spate of criminal and anti-social behaviour and it is felt that by restoring a caretaker who can lock the gates after the last hall hirer has been in – this will help combat anti-social behaviour.”
Application to erect three-bed detached house at 12 Roman Way, Bourne End, SL8 5LW (23/07161/FUL)
The applicant is also seeking permission to build two sheds and additional parking to the front and rear.
The property previously had permission granted for a new fence, gates and drop kerb in connection with new access onto Kennet Road.
