An 18-year-old has been charged following a police car and helicopter chase in a Bucks town which ended in a major crash.
An 18-year-old, a 15-year-old and a 14-year-old were arrested on London End in Beaconsfield on Tuesday, September 19 following a crash between two vehicles, police have confirmed.
The collision, according to one shop worker who saw the events unfold, was preceded by a “car chase” with five or six police vehicles in pursuit of a white 4x4 which was later towed from the scene.
John McDonagh, 18, of no fixed abode, was charged with dangerous driving, driving without a license, driving without insurance and failing to stop at Wycombe Magistrates Court this morning (September 21) and has been remanded in custody to appear at Crown Court on a later date.
A 15-year-old boy from Beaconsfield was also arrested on suspicion of two counts of burglary and one count of theft of a motor vehicle and a 14-year-old girl from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They have both been released on police bail until December 2.
