A driver has been handed a fine after they were caught littering on a dash cam.
The driver of a silver car was seen throwing a cigarette butt out of their window on July 26 on Lower Road in Aylesbury.
The driver may have escaped undetected had it not been for the dash cam of the car behind, which captured the littering.
Buckinghamshire Council’s fly-tipping enforcement team posted on X (formerly Twitter), saying the driver has now paid a £150 fixed penalty notice, which “discharges liability” and the driver avoided a court prosecution.
