AN abhorrent man has been jailed after taking a teenage girl to his home, hiding her in a wardrobe and then raping her.
The court heard how Hamza Mohammed Ali arranged to meet a young girl through the social media site Snapchat.
He went to pick her up and bring her back to his home address in Priory Avenue, High Wycombe Between 9am and 2pm on March 21, 2021.
Ali pleaded guilty to a count each of rape, sexual assault and inciting sexual activity with a child in a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday, September 7.
The 24-year-old brought the teenage girl up to his bedroom and pressured her to remove her clothes, before biting her on the neck and breasts causing bruising.
Ali then forced the girl to hide in a wardrobe after a resident returned to the property.
When this person left, Ali proceeded to rape his victim before driving her back home. The victim suffered from bite injuries during the attack.
Detective Inspector Simon Mountain of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit said: “Ali subjected his young victim to a truly abhorrent crime, and caused her injuries as a result of this offence.
“We would like to praise the victim for her courage in supporting this investigation and we hope that she will be able to put this behind her in the knowledge that her attacker has been jailed.
“Ali pleaded guilty to the offences, and so this meant that the victim did not have to re-live her ordeal in court.
“Thames Valley Police will never tolerate this type of behaviour and will always seek to prosecute offenders and put them before the courts where they belong.”
He was subsequently sentenced to a total of six years and nine months’ imprisonment.
