A cafe has submitted plans to create additional parking bays and a workshop could be demolished in Marlow if the plans get approved by Buckinghamshire Council.

The Chiltern Velo Café in Hawridge Common is proposing to build a single storey side and rear extension.

Plans were submitted earlier this week (September 11) for the existing roof spaces to be used as ancillary accommodation including three front and one rear dormer.

Hilro Consulting Ltd who are specialist Agricultural Building and Planning Consultants, acting as agents, have submitted a Planning Application relating to an agricultural barn (180 m2) being erected at Leaders Farm, Widmere Lane, Marlow.

The Farm has decided after consultation to apply for the construction of a 180sqm portal frame agricultural building for storage of machinery, implements, hay and fencing equipment. 

The land is situated within the Metropolitan Green Belt and the Chiltern AONB.

Mr Young & Ms O’Neill purchased the holding (6.474 Hectares ) in Spring 2023 . Their initial plans are to maintain and improve the land as is , with a view to taking a hay harvest Summer 2024, possibly working with local farmers to facilitate livestock grazing and actively managing the grassland as a conservation area in time.
