A MAN in his 40s has been stabbed after 'a disagreement' with another man at the YMCA hostel in High Wycombe.
Thames Valley Police confirmed they were called to Crest Road at around 10.50pm following reports of a stabbing.
A resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, said 'around 30 armed police officers responded' to the incident.

A "critical response team unit turned up to treat the man in his 40s on the side of the pavement," he added.
Police said they have arrested a 35-year-old from Buckinghamshire on suspicion of GBH wounding with intent. He remains in custody at this time.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police, said: “Officers were called to the YMCA in Crest Road, High Wycombe at around 10.50pm last night to reports that a man in his forties had been stabbed, following a disagreement with another man.
"The man remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
"Officers have made an arrest of a 35-year-old from Buckinghamshire, on suspicion of GBH wounding with intent. He remains in custody at this time.
"Members of the public will see an increased police presence while we continue to investigate."
