Police personnel are still present in an area of High Wycombe following the launch of a murder investigation.
Images taken on September 12 show a section of public footpaths near Bowden Lane in the town are still cordoned off by the authorities after a body was discovered at the start of the month.
At around 10.05pm on Tuesday, September 5, the emergency services were called to Bowden Lane within the town after a person was found with ‘significant injuries.’

It was later revealed that the man was dead at the scene.
The man who died has since been named as Karl Stanislaus, with the 44-year-old suffering from numerous stab wounds.READ MORE: High Wycombe murder: Man arrested after fatal stabbing
A 23-year-old man from High Wycombe has since been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Since the news broke, several floral tributes have been left for Stanislaus.Head of Crime Detective Superintendent, Kevin Brown, said the police were following a number of lines of enquiry but reassured the general public that progress was being made.

“We are continuing our investigation into the circumstances of his death, and an arrest has now been made.
“I would again reiterate that I’d like to hear from anybody who was using, or close to, Bowden Lane and its continuation footpath towards Sierra Road and Carolina Drive between 9pm and 10pm on Tuesday to contact us.READ MORE: Wycombe murder probe: Victim named as Karl Stanislaus
An officer at the scene on September 12 also told the Free Press that it is ‘not known’ how long the investigation will last.
