A restaurant that is regarded as one of the best in Gerrards Cross has temporarily shut its doors.
The Ethorpe Hotel, which is situated on Packhorse Road in the town, confirmed the news on September 11 that the establishment will not be open until the end of October as it undergoes a refurbishment.
The site, which is part of the Chef & Brewer Collection of country pubs, will have its hotel rooms, interior and garden completely revamped with the project costing a six-figure sum.

To help with the renovation, members of the public were encouraged to visit the pub and take away any surplus items which mainly consisted of furniture.
