A popular pub has revealed its new look after a refurbishment.
The Queens Head pub in Chesham has reopened after a nine-day makeover and change of management.
The traditional pub on Church Street welcomed punters back on Monday September 4 with around 200 customers coming in on the first day alone.
The pub’s new director and tenant Paul Marsh said: “First days have been great with some cracking feedback from the regulars loving the fact that we have kept the character but provided the face lift it deserves.”

Although the pub is open and functional, Paul and the team are still doing finishing touches on the restaurant.
A sneak peek inside the Fullers-owned pub revealed fresh paint and wallpapers, the outdoor seating area and freshly painted sign with the hanging flower baskets.
Other additions to the dog-friendly pub include “a couple of extra discreet TV screens and SONOS [soundsystem] throughout,” Paul said.
With a heatwave upon Buckinghamshire, the Queens Head was ready for a “great weekend even though historically it hasn’t been a summer pub,” Paul added.
The pub is still looking to fill job vacancies left empty by staff returning to university.
