An anonymous dog walker who lives near the crime scene said: 'I'm saddened, disappointed and shocked.
"When we first moved here, we were told we'd be away from stuff like this yet this has happened on our doorstep.
"It's desperately sad to hear that someone has lost their life in just a horrific way. I'm slowly coming to terms with it all as I live nearby."
Wycombe resident, Penny Gielgud, who was also walking their dog at the time the police were present, added: "I was going to walk my dog down there as that's my regular route but I didn't go there yesterday.
