This is what Buckinghamshire residents think of the controversial Ultra Low Emission Zone expansion to their doorstep.
Drivers in Greater London now face a £12.50 daily charge if their vehicle falls short of the Ulez emission standards.
The London mayor and Transport for London expanded Ulez in bid to improve the capital’s air quality by discouraging drivers of older and more polluting vehicles off London roads.
Exposure to poor air quality is associated with illnesses and long-term exposure can lead to chronic diseases.
Beaconsfield mayor and town councillor Jackson Ng said he was “disappointed” that Sadiq Khan has gone ahead with the expansion.
He told the Free Press: “I personally drive an electric car, I’ve got two electric cars, my wife drives and I drive one and we’ve got solar panels. So we are all about preserving the environment for our children and the next generation.
“But I think there needs to be a fine balance as to how you implement a scheme like this. I question whether it’s the right time to do it because of the financial pressures many families are facing at the moment.

“It’s not in the Town Council’s remit, but a number of councillors have raised concerns about the wiseness of such a plan, but he has gone ahead with it. Which is very unfortunate.”
Here is what Bucks residents think of the scheme one week after it launched.
A total of 210 votes came in when we asked readers ‘do you support Ulez in Greater London?’
The majority of the voters (61 percent) said they didn’t support the scheme while 39 percent supported Ulez.
Mike Smith from Milton Keynes said he’ll have to pay when visiting his sister in London twice a month.

“This is just a stealth tax for Mr Khan as he cannot manage the finances of London,” he said.
John Mccabe said he will no longer make any more journeys with a diesel vehicles.
He said: “It’s going to be disastrous for London as regards a shopping centre people shall take their business elsewhere.”
London residents with older vehicles may be eligible for the scrappage scheme to help swap their cars, vans or mopeds to less polluting options. However, the scrappage scheme is not available for people living in Buckinghamshire or the other home counties.
