Buckinghamshire Council has announced works to improve road surfacing.
Residents were warned of roadworks on some of Amersham’s busiest roads, including the A404.
The conventional surfacing works in the Stanley Hill area from Woodside Road to London Road East area are set to last from Friday August 18 until September 5.
Main road treatment works are taking place between 7am and 7pm with a full 24h road closure in place and access to the area available only outside the working times, the Council warned.
A string of night works will start on the roundabouts from White Lion Road to Woodside Road on the night of September 6.
The roundabout works are set to last until September 20.
Buckinghamshire Council said the abuse of road workers has increased this year. They asked the public to “respect our workforce while they make improvements to Buckinghamshire’s Highways.”
