High Wycombe is one of the several places where a potential Costco will not be situated.
The wholesaler is looking for sites between six and 12 acres of land that would house a 150,000-square-foot building with 650 parking spaces.
Costco is also trying to develop a petrol station on any potential site.
These plans have resulted in several areas of the UK being put forward and as it stands, proposals to have one within Bucks will not go ahead.

Instead, Colchester, Chelmsford, Exeter, Oxford, Cambridge, Maidstone, Portsmouth, Bournemouth/Poole, Preston, South Glasgow, South East London, Wolverhampton/North West Birmingham and South West Birmingham have all been listed as prospective areas.
Justin Parker, director of property developer Chase Commercial, told The Sun: "We are really pleased to be partnered with Costco to deliver further warehouse clubs for them throughout the UK."
There are currently 29 Costco sites in the UK and in order to shop there, customers must have a membership which can only be obtained by meeting certain criteria.

Those wishing to shop there must be a registered business or be VAT registered, but those who work or are retired from the emergency services, armed forces or other professions can also apply for membership.
Costco currently has 848 warehouses worldwide and recorded a turnover of $222.7 billion in 2022.
