A cafe was given a new food hygiene rating after an inspection by the Food Standards Agency.
Nanny Littons Coffee Pot in Chesham was handed a one-out-of-five score for its food hygiene standards.
The cafe was inspected on July 10 by the Food Standards Agency which inspects restaurants, cafes, takeaways, bars and pubs.
Following an inspection, establishments are given a scorecard they can display on the window to help customers decide where they want to eat and drink.
Nanny Littons Coffee Pot, which is located at 340 Berkhampstead Road, was rated as ‘major improvement necessary’ - the second-lowest score available.
The food safety officer rated the hygienic food handling, including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage, as ‘improvement necessary’, the FSA website shows.
Cleanliness and condition of facilities and the building were ‘generally satisfactory’.
This includes having an appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities and pest control.

Major improvement was necessary in the area of management of food safety.
This includes system or checks in place to ensure food sold and served is safe to eat, evidence that staff know about food safety.
Owner of the cafe Robert Gaskell said: "Within a week of the inspection we had made the improvements the inspector demanded."
"We have paid for a re-inspection, but that can take up to three months but they'll try to get to us early next week.
"No food was found to be dangerous."
The cafe appeared listed on Just Eat until August 18 despite the one-star rating displayed on the website.
After the Free Press contacted Just Eat, a banner has now been added on top of the listing saying Nanny Littons Coffee Pot is "not taking orders at the moment". This suggests low-rated businesses are not allowed on the online food delivery service.
A spokesperson for Just Eat said: “We take food safety extremely seriously, and have led the way in driving up standards across the sector. We have robust processes in place to ensure compliance with our policies and the vast majority of restaurants we work with have a Food Hygiene Rating of three or above.
"We believe we have a huge role to play in driving up standards in the sector as a whole, which is why we have invested more than £1 million in a bespoke improvement programme for restaurants with a food hygiene rating of below three.
"Should any restaurant partner’s rating drop below three stars, our systems automatically flag this to our teams so we can offer them the support, fully funded by us, to make the necessary improvements to get back up to that standard."
