ENGLAND could make history today as the Lionesses attempt to win the World Cup as they take on Spain.

Following their memorable success in the European championship last year the Lionesses have a chance to make even more history.

There is set to be a party atmosphere across the county if the ladies overcome Spain and lift the trophy for the first time.

Due to the time difference  - as the match is taking place at Stadium Australia in Sydney - the game will be kicking off at 11am.

Therefore, because of this timing, it may be hard for some to find the best venue to watch the match.

To help you out, we’ve picked out just a few of the places in Buckinghamshire where you can watch the big match this weekend:

Yates, High Wycombe

The pub will be opening its doors from 10am serving breakfast until 12pm whilst guests can watch the final.

Aylesbury Vale Dynamos FC

The football club in Haywood Way, Aylesbury will be showing the match and you don't have to be a member to join.

The atmosphere should be even better in a football club environment.

The Aristocrat Public House

Or if you fancy a pub environment, head the Aristocrat Public House instead.

All Saints' Church Marlow

The church is opening its doors this morning with their usual service att 9.30am followed by coffee.

Then when the game kicks off at 11am residents can watch the World Cup Final on the big screen.

There will be free hotdogs and ice cream at half-time and everyone is welcome.

The George and Dragon, West Wycombe

The classic country pub in West Wycombe is inviting everyone down to support the Lionesses from 10.30am.

All pints will cost £4.00 between 11am and 1pm with breakfast served until 11.30am.

They have a special breakfast and a pint for £10.

The Hour Glass, High Wycombe

The town centre pub is opening at 11am and wants people to come down to show their support for the England woman's team.

You could also win some meat with their raffle and card bingo is taking place in the evening so you could spend your whole Sunday there if you fancy it!
