High Wycombe residents with a green thumb have a chance to win in a competition looking for the best green space.
Red Kite housing association has launched the Green Space Award competition to find the best gardens, patios, vegetable patches and balconies across High Wycombe with a focus this year on how people create and maintain green spaces.
The competition is open to everyone in the community, not just Red Kite tenants.

Red Kite’s volunteering, engagement and events manager Jon Upchurch said: “We’re especially excited to see how local groups and schools have improved their communal outdoor spaces, particularly with an eye to the environment and wildlife. That’s why we’ve distributed packs of wildflower seeds to attract pollinating insects such as bees and butterflies.
“People can submit photos of their Green Space when they enter – and we can’t wait to see them!”
To enter, visit redkitehousing.org.uk/greenspace by Monday September 11.
