A distillery in Buckinghamshire has won a coveted travel award for the third year running.  

The Griffiths Brothers Distillery in Amersham announced it has won a top award in this year’s Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards.

The booze experts were crowned the winners of the ‘Things To Do’ category in the awards by the online travel review site, which boasts more than a billion reviews around the world.

Founder Alex Griffiths said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the Travellers’ Choice Award for a third year running and very grateful to all of our guests for their visit and amazing reviews. Thank you!”

The award-winning distillery founded by brothers Alex and Drew Griffiths produces small batches of spirits at its Penn Street site, specialising in cold distillation.

Tripadvisor’s chief growth officer John Boris congratulated the winners for their success despite a challenging landscape for businesses.

He said: “The travel resurgence we’ve seen throughout the past year has even further heightened the competition.

“Earning a Travellers’ Choice Award demonstrates that you have provided great experiences to those who matter most: your guests.
