A MAN from Milton Keynes has been convicted of child sex offences.
On Tuesday (August 1), a jury unanimously found Roy Parsons, 73, of Brooke Close, Bletchley, guilty of eight counts of sexual activity with a child under 16 at Amersham Crown Court.
He was released on bail and is due to be sentenced at the same court on September 8.
Parsons sexually assaulted the victim, a young girl who cannot be named for legal reasons, under and over her clothing on numerous occasions between November 2020 and January 2021.
Parsons was charged on June 21 last year.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Martin Camp, of Milton Keynes CID, said he was ‘delighted’ with the conviction.
He added: “Anyone who has experienced sexual abuse should know they can speak to the police and feel confident they will be listened to.”
