Marlow has recently been ranked as one of Britain's trendiest towns, coming in the top three "coolest" places to live.
With its riverside location, fashionable high street, and abundance of green space, it's no wonder people are flocking to this sleepy little town.
Not to mention, Marlow has become a haven for celebrities like Chris Evans, Ricky Gervais, and celebrity chef Tom Kerridge.
Naturecan, a CBD health business backed by ex-England cricketer Freddie Flintoff, named Marlow as one of the country's coolest towns.
They ranked multiple UK towns through a strict calculation process that involved 5,000 people with panels in every county.
Marlow stood out for its rich source of entertainment and dining options, among other factors.
"Bagging third place is Marlow in Buckinghamshire, which is without a doubt, one of the nicest locations on the River Thames," said a Naturecan spokesperson.
"Known for its natural beauty, Marlow has a lovely town centre made up of historic streets, offering an array of shops, restaurants, wine bars and pubs, which all add to Marlow’s charm.
"You’ll know you’ve hit Marlow when you see the town's landmark – the graceful suspension bridge with joins Buckinghamshire and Berkshire across the Thames."
The rankings were determined by various criteria, including the number of independent shops per capita, the range of cultural events, the "Instagrammability" of the town's best features, and its popularity as a filming location.
Marlow's picturesque location on the River Thames, with its historic streets lined with shops, restaurants, wine bars, and pubs, contributed to its high ranking.
The town's landmark, a graceful suspension bridge spanning the Thames and connecting Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, is a sight that signifies one has arrived in Marlow.
Marlow's proximity to London has made it a popular choice for directors seeking quintessential English villages to film in.
With a population of only 14,000, Marlow offers a desirable escape from the hustle and bustle of the city while still being within reach of London.
Its thriving high street filled with independent shops and businesses adds to its appeal.
Whether it's strolling along the riverside, exploring the local shops and eateries, or simply enjoying the sense of community, Marlow has something for everyone.
It's no wonder many dream of calling this trendy town their home.
