SOCIAL media famous Lido Ladies have made Wycombe Rye their next stop on their swimming tour.

Swimming enthusiasts Jessica Walker and Nicola Foster have made it their mission to swim in as many outdoor pools and recently visited High Wycombe's historic pool as part of their tour.

Dressed in glamorous retro swimming gear, the pair braved the rain and took to the 33 metre heated pool for some swimming.

The Lido Ladies emerged on Instagram in 2020 during the first UK lockdown, when public access to lidos was temporarily halted.

United by their love for swimming and a desire to share their passion, they quickly gained a devoted following.

Now, they have taken their water-bound adventures to Park Road Lido, making a splash among enthusiastic onlookers and fitness enthusiasts.

The team at Wycombe Rye Lido said: "We were thrilled to welcome the Lido Ladies today, and we sincerely hope to see them return soon.

"Their charismatic presence, colourful outfits and love for all things aquatic truly brightened the day for our swimmers.”

Wycombe Rye Lido has long been cherished by locals. 

Activities at the centre also include a gym, fully equipped with the latest gym and fitness equipment, group exercise classes and a café.
