A charity match to commemorate the fourth anniversary of a young footballer’s death will take place this weekend.
Luca Skivington, who was on the books at Burnham FC at the time of his passing on August 6, 2019, will be remembered this Sunday when a group of his friends will take on Maidenhead Rangers at the 1887 Stadium.
Organised by his family and peers, all the proceeds from the fixture will be donated to the Centre Point Charity – a non-profit organisation that helps youth homelessness.
Burnham Football Club will be the venue for a very special charity match to celebrate the life of Luca Skivington.

“His parents, Michele and Glenn, and younger brother Marco have agreed to hold this event, organised by his friends who play for Maidenhead Rangers FC.
“It will include a raffle to add to funds of over £12,000 already raised for the Centrepoint Charity and we encourage local businesses to donate to the raffle if they can by getting in touch directly with Elliott Jack, vice Chairman of Maidenhead Rangers FC.”
The match will kick-off at 1pm at the 1878 Stadium.
